Math

Unit 4 - Multi-digit Multiplication
I can solve multiplication problems by partitioning rectangles
I can convert liters to milliliters
I can use the partial products method to multiply numbers
I can convert kilograms to grams
I can solve number stories involving money

You can see from the multiplication objectives that it is expected students are fluent with multiplication facts.  Your child is bringing home 50 fact multiplication practice sheets titled Mad Minute if your students is in need of more practice.  These should be timed for 3 minutes.  Mark the last work completed within the 3 minutes.  Facts should be corrected by an adult or older sibling or by the student with a calculator. I also ask for an adult to sign the practice sheets, Students need immediate feedback.  If your student is not bringing home practice sheets, fluency has been demonstrated.
